Trendology: Thom Browne S/S 2014 RTW Menswear Collection

New year means the new S/S collection has arrived, and today I want to take a look at the Thom Browne RTW menswear collection.

Back in June 2013, Browne showed a military/navy inspired collection and somehow the looks reminded me of the toy soldiers with a feminine vibe. Since the runway looks from this brand are usually not that wearable, the design team has taken some main elements out and created the real ready to wear line. The ribbon detail is one of the major highlights here, so are the anchor embroideries and the multi panel suits. I find this collection to be very solid as everything is based on the brand's signature colours: red, blue, white and grey.
