Exhibition: Stanley Kubrick at TIFF

On Thursday October 30th TIFF hosted their annual gala fundraiser BOOMBOX. This year the event focused around their current exhibition celebrating the directorial genius Stanley Kubrick and his many cult classics. Gala guests were treated to special installations for the evening's festivities including an interactive record store and a reproduction of the famed Korova Milk Bar from Kubrick's film A Clockwork Orange and the interior of Discovery One from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Between viewing the official exhibit and the interactive installations, guests were treated to music, dancing and a plethora of food and drink. At one point the DJ was spinning blind folded showcasing his true talent.

Some interesting guests made appearances at the event including a notable set of twins in blue dresses. You probably recognize the duo from Kubrick's 1980 film The Shining. The twins floated through the party rubbing shoulders with guests and pausing for photos.
