Walk the Walk: Andrew Coimbra F/W 2015 Collection

One of the major highlights for me this F/W 2015 Toronto Men's Fashion Week (TOM*|FW) was without a doubt Andrew Coimbra's runway show. In my opinion, this collection could easily join the collections shown in Milan and Paris.

"Sorry, not sorry: a Canadian dilemma" is the tile of this collection. Andrew is a master of landscape prints, and this season used aerial iceberg perspectives and extreme cold weather mapping patterns as part of his inspiration. Canadians are known to use the word "sorry" often, and this element adds an interesting vibe to the collection.

Canadians love to wear their wool knits in the winter, and this season Andrew created modern knits with silhouettes for the cool kids in town. I love the military and sporty aesthetic of this collection. Each piece is very wearable on or off the runway.

Having followed Andrew's career since 2010, I strongly believe this collection is his best work to date. Yes, there is still room for him to grow and push his talents further but he has reached a point with this collection where I am extremely happy to say, I want it all!

Congratulation Andrew, you nailed it!
