Exhibition: ¡Viva México! Clothing and Culture

For people who are interested in the Mexican clothing culture, this exhibition at the ROM in Toronto will be on your must-see list this year.


¡Viva México! Clothing and Culture is an original exhibition features approximately 150 pieces created in Mexico between 18th and 21st centuries. Since textile is the "living language" in Mexico, this exhibit shows how this element connects everyone in the country from the past to present. Some of the items that are on display include ceremonial outfits, embroidered samplers woven rebozos and patterned sarapes.
