The Valentino girls in this collection are bold, fearless, beautiful and classy. Throughout the collection, the gladiator and Roman goddess elements are used to create the bold and soft contrast. As a fan of the brand, I do find this collection has some of the best elements from the previous RTW collections. Even though black dominates half of the collection, my eyes popped when I saw the signature red pieces coming out to the runway. If I need to conclude this collection with one sentence, it will be this - this collection is where new (DNA of Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli) meets old (DNA of Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavan).
