Picture Perfect: Fusion Six - Rebellious Squad - Alexander Liang & Justine Iaboni

Alexander Liang and Justine Iaboni are one of the most well known fashion couples in the Toronto fashion industry and we have been friends for years.  Whenever I need help, they are always here for me and I can still recall many of our brainstorm sessions. These two (and their dog Sofia) have definitely influenced me a lot in many ways.

Alexander Liang

Alex has been one of my greatest supporters and I cannot thank him enough for collaborating with me on the first Draw A Dot. contest to give me exposure. Even though he is a big star in the cyber space, whenever I need help in real life, he will always be there for me. I am very fortunate to have such a solid friendship with this talented person. Let’s keep this momentum going!” - Marcus

Inspiration of the shirt & sneakers:
"The concept for my T-shirt and shoes came from my love of the ocean and my West Coast roots. I was also inspired by the style of Japanese artist Hokusai’s famous “The Great Wave off Kanagawa”." - Alex

Justine Iaboni

“I met Justine through our mutual friend Noëlly and this is one of the friendships I cherish a lot. Maybe because we are both Leos, we clicked immediately after we first met and I am very proud of all the things she has accomplished so far. 6 years ago, we both were nobodies. Today, this lovely lady has become one of the superstars in this industry. Hard work pays off.” - Marcus

Inspiration of the shirt & sneakers:
"I love putting pen to paper, so when Marcus asked me to design a t-shirt I thought, why not put pen to fabric? On the crisp white Gap t-shirt, I penned an ad hoc blog post (most of my blog posts are a stream of consciousness anyway) that revolves around the concept of “putting your heart” into your work. For the shoes, I kept it simple, taking inspiration from Joshua Sanders, and wrote “BLOGGER” in bold, stretched across both heels so you can only read the word when I click my feet together." - Justine
