About a week ago, I showed you a preview of Banana Republic Anna Karenina Inspired collection and today, the complete look book has finally arrived!
I find this collection to be very affordable for the women as the price range is between $55- $228 (Men pieces are slightly more expensive because of the coats. $610 is the most expensive piece). All the pieces are very good for parties in this coming holiday season and they are pretty versatile. My favourite piece from the womenswear is the crimson cowl-back dress ($175) and for the menswear, I am in love with the black monogram flannel single-breasted jacket ($610).
If you are a fan of this collection, make sure you head to the Banana Republic store on October 31st.

Trendology: Banana Republic Anna Karenina Inspired Collection
There is one movie I am really looking forward to this November - Anna Karenina. There are three reasons I want to watch this movie: the cast, the plot and the clothes.
I appreciate the 19th Century fashions so when I heard Banana Republic is going to create a capsule collection based on this movie, my heart just skipped a beat. This holiday capsule is curated and styled by twice-Academy Award-nomiated costume designer Jacqueline Durran (who also designed the costumes for Anna Karenina). There are 56 pieces for women and 20 pieces for men. So far, I really like the pieces on the male model and I am looking forward to try on the flannel slim fit suit jacket and pants.
This collection wil hit store and online on October 31st. Ladies, I believe it is time for you to save up.
