Walk the Walk: Armani Privé F/W 2014 Collection

Out of all the Haute Couture collections I have seen in the F/W 2014 season, Armani Privé is THE COLLECTION that has completely blown me away. Red, black and white, those are the colours to bring out the Armani spirit (no navy this time).

The collection consists of 71 looks and many of them appeal to a younger demographic. The unique thing about Armani's Haute Couture is that the collection will always carry a modern vibe, with a futuristic touch. In here, circle has become a major theme and this element turns into 3D embellishments, prints, polka dots, and even an organza top.

I personally am in love with all the evening wear because they look elegant and timeless. Also, there is no doubt the polka dots veils are going to be a hit in the upcoming editorials.

Trendology: Armani Privé Haute Couture S/S 2010

The theme for this Armani Privé' haute couture is very clear: it has to do with different shapes of the moon. Armani has turned some normal looking clothes and blended in the moon element in them to make the whole collection to be modern and futuristic. The colors for this season are black, white and grey. The moon element can be seen everywhere in the whole collection ranges from earrings to the cutting and style of the dress. The cutting for this collection is superb and the clothes are able to bring out the best attitude from the ladies.

I have a lot of favorites from this collection but one of the funniest dress from this show is the big giant "full moon" wrapping around the model. Also, the reflecting material is something that I will not expect Armani will use and this has definitely created the futuristic vibe for this collection.
