Trendology: Louis Vuitton x Scott Campbell Collection

I am sure you have seen my post about the Louis Vuitton x Scott Campbell Utah Tattoo Néo Greenwich and if you are a fan of this capsule collection, you will not miss the following items.

As part of the collaboration collection, there are 2 products that have captured my eyes. First off, there is this amazing Silk tattoo-print scarf. I am loving the graphics (flowers, myth creatures) on the scarf which blend so well with the LV monogram. There are two versions of this scarf and each is selling for $540.

Then there is this Cotton voile tattoo-print shirt which I think is the perfect wear for this summer. I am loving the pattern and the transparency of the shirt gives a very breezy feeling. This shirt is selling for $1285 and in my opinion, I think is worth it!

Both items are sold at select Louis Vuitton boutiques so make sure you keep an eye on this collection when you go to LV next time.

Trendology: Louis Vuitton x Scott Campbell Utah Tattoo Néo Greenwich

As many of you may know, Louis Vuitton x Scott Campbell capsule collection is my most anticipated collection for this season. The 1st bag from this collection is finally unveiled and as a person who does not love to have the big logo printed on bags, I am actually obsessed with this product.

The bag is a fusion of LV's Utah leather and Scott Campbell's tattoo art. LV uses the high-tech laser perforation technique to print the pattern on the bag and I am loving the texture of it. Even though this bag has instantly on my wish list, but the price for it is $7150 US. I hope somewhere in the future, I will be able to afford this luxury product.

Trendology: Louis Vuitton Scott Campbell Interview

If you have followed this blog close enough, you should know for the next season, I am all up for the Louis Vuitton x Scott Campbell collaboration. Recently Louis Vuitton has released the interview videos with Scott Campbell and the topics include the promotion video, the inspiration and his connection with Marc Jacobs.

After watching the videos, I think I want this collection more since this will most likely be Scott Campbell's final commercial project. I am loving the futuristic Asia inspiration!

Trendology: Louis Vuitton Men's S/S 2011 Scott Campbell Collection Preview Part 2

Last week I have shown you part 1 of Scott Campbell x Louis Vuitton capsule collection promotion video and today, part 2 is released. This time, Scott has finally arrived in Paris and this video is all about his adventure in this beautiful city. Of course, the capsule collection pieces do take a cameo in this video but my mind is all attached to the custom bag part.

This collection will be available in Louis Vuitton stores next February. I am looking forward to see this collection with my own eyes in store!
