Object Of Desire: Sample Sale with Moda:ko and John De Porter Jewelry

Toronto is filled with a plethora of talented designers with their brands offering an array of products to capture your attention.  John De Porter Jewelry is based in pearls with the simple goal of bringing the wearer pleasure. Meanwhile Moda:ko is the fun new fashionable tech case company with a product offering that often doubles as a handbag or clutch for zipping around town in style.

The two brands' designers are currently residents at the Toronto Fashion Incubator where they continue to grow, create and refine their products season after season. Working side-by-side here it is no wonder they have decided to partner on an exclusive one day only sample sale on Thursday June 25^th, 8am-7pm at The Tempered Room Café, 1374 Queen Street West. At the sale Torontonians will have the opportunity to snap up some of these two brands’ hottest items for up to 70% off.

Trendology: The New Prada Pouchettes

Valentine's Day is only 10 days away and I am sure some of you are still hunting the perfect gift for your significant other. If you are looking for a handbag for your lady, may I suggest this one from Prada to you?

Trendology: Prada Raso Ricamo Satin Top Handle Bag

One of the most interesting handbags for this season has to be from Prada. This satin bag is decorated by crystals and beads and I think it is a perfect size for an evening bag. Yes, it does look very surreal and exaggerated, but honestly, if you are paying more than $5000 for a Prada bag, you might as well let it shine on its own.

Trendology: Louis Vuitton Handbags FW 2010 Collection

It is always fascinated to see how Marc Jacobs is a genius in fashion.  Other than his own brand, Louis Vuitton surely is not one to be missed.  

This season, the handbags from Louis Vuitton is another Marc's genius collection.  He combined different fabrics, leathers, and textures into one bag.  He used fur, printed leather and crocodile skin, the most fascinated part is he combined two textures into one - lace pattern and leather.  Choice of colour palette is another killer in the collection, silver, pink, brown, nude, and so on.
