Ray of Inspirology: Steven Meisel

In 2009, I have seen several high end brand fashion ad campaign and they are all done by Steven Meisel. I remember the first ad that really blows me away this year by him is the Louis Vuitton S/S 2009 campaign with Madonna. The shooting location is in a cafe in Paris and with the creative mind of Marc Jacobs plus the attitude Madonna has, the final images turn out to be very powerful and I cannot take my eyes off them.

The 2nd ad campaign that has caught my eyes is the Balenciaga F/W 09 with Jennifer Connolly. I really like how Steven is able to capture the most glamorous, yet fierce side of Jennifer. The setting is simple, yet the outcome is extraordinary.
