Following the trend of opening up temporary retail spaces, or "guerrilla stores", whether it be to generate buzz or to gain a new following of customers, Holt Renfrew will be offering an exciting shopping experience at their first-ever pop-up location at 560 King St. W. from Dec. 2 to Dec. 6. The word is, Barabara Atkin, has chosen designers and brands with offerings that are not gender specific. How cool is that? There's also some rumours that members of the Group of Seven -no, not the group of Canadian landscape painters... the Canadian fashion design team, will be there. This includes Greta Constantine (loved their fall '09 seatbelt collection), Jeremy Laing, and others. I might get a chance to pop-in during the week. Who knows? I'll fall in love with a pair of pants and walk out with an extra pair for my better half.
