Funkology: Kris Van Assche's Picaflor at Galerie de Galeries

Kris Van Assche is taking his design career a step beyond fashion, into Fine Arts/Interaction Design.  He took his detail oriented and conceptual idea into this exhibition in Paris' Galerie de Galeries, called 'Picaflor'.  This exhibition offers viewers a multi sensation experience with a reconstructed 'flower' that is made with custom scent and sound.  This installation is displaying 12 man-size Mirror-Flower that created by American artist, Matt Saunders.  These flowers reflect Van Assche's creative characteristic through images, smell and sound.  Moreover, 22 portraits of women, whom participated in the runway show that Van Assche and Saunders had collaborated during the spring/summer time, are also displayed as an balance to the 12 man-size Mirror-Flower.
