[On]Air: For The Love of Tiger

Martin Hsu, an illustrator that I really like is going to have an exhibition in Munky King in LA from February 11 to March 11. The opening n This show will feature new art works by Martin Hsu and Andrew Brandou and as you can read from the title, this show will have the tiger theme since in the Chinese calender, this is the year of the tiger.

Here, we have the first piece by Martin and there is a meaning behind this. Usually tigers are fierce and children are scared of them; however, tigers are becoming one of the endangered animals on Earth right now and the children in this art piece are having the tiger hoods on and gathering around to protect the Tiger Tree. In other words, the children are asking us to protect the forest and help save to save the Earth.

If you want to get a chance to meet the artists and listen to some good music, make sure you go to Munky King for the opening night on February 11 (Thursday) from 7pm to 10pm. For more information, you can click here.
