Trendology: Balmain Fall RTW 2010

My first impression to this Balmain fall collection is - modern outfit in the Versailles. Gold pinstripes, brocade, frock coats, showing some expensive side with influences from the 17th Century but stayed original. Exaggerated on the shoulders, as he always did over the last few seasons, bring a strong fighting mood to the brocaded dress. Christophe Decarnin is going for military style as well, but with gold buttons and matched with a pair of red tight pants to make a statement.
