[Un]Discovers: Waverly Wyld

In the next 7 days, we are featuring 4 photographers who will be in the photography exhibition show we are co-hosting with Sleeping Giant on March 12-18. Today, we have Waverly Wyld. Below is a brief description of herself and we have asked her some questions that are related to his current career.

"Waverly Wyld is a freelance fashion and documentary photographer orignally from the West Coast and currently residing in Toronto."

Hi Waverly, so who have inspired you to be a photographer?
My first inspiration came from looking at my grandfathers pictures that he took of family between the 1950-70's in Sweden.

What will be you ultimate goal for your photographer career?
I would be happy to photograph avant garde editorials and find a balance between that and creating documentary works that I consider to be pictures with purpose.

We wish you all the best and hope to see some of your photos on magazines soon! Last but not least, if you can work with any celebrities / models in the world, who will you want to work with and what will the theme of the shoot be?
I don't have a deep desire to photograph a specific celebrity or model but I would be interested in capturing a subject like Perez Hilton who has an interesting perspective. Personality and spirit over rules physical beauty to me.

Thank you so much to Waverly Wyld for taking her time to answer our questions. If you are interested in her works, please head down to Sleeping Giant Gallery to meet him in person on March 12!
