Gareth Pugh is being creative on leather. These leather jackets, or leatherwear, are not the same as you usually see. These leathers are thick and sculptural, molded into chevron pattern; I might as well say this chevron pattern is pulling this collection together as one. Both male and female are looking strong when enveloped in the heavy leather, but in contrast to the weight, a flimsy and silky piece is also presented with the chevron. Later in the show, fine chain is to replaced the chevron pattern, showing less bold but gliding along the body like a dress.
