Trendology: Jean Paul Gaultier Women Fall/Winter 2010 Collecion

In this season, Gaultier is bringing us to a world tour and the countries include Mexico, India, Morocco, Togo, Russia and Greece.

This collection is a fusion of culture and modern fashion. A model can have a very nice looking trench coat with a African turban wrap around her head. If you think this is not crazy enough, what about a giant Russian style hat matches with a Mexican style floral print one piece dress? I just find this collection to be very colorful and full of creativity. The different culture prints are definitely my favorite and the neon tights have just created the sparks for these amazing clothes. If you think these combinations are too much for you, you can wear each piece separately and can still show your JPG taste because the cutting is recognizable.

I believe the understatement for this collection is this: Do not be afraid to mix and match the clothing you have in your closet to create your unique style because sometims they don't even need to be coherent with one another. To me, I think this is a brilliant idea. Time to think outside the box!
