Trendology: Prada Menswear S/S Collection 2011

I will not lie, Prada Menswear runway show is probably the one I look forward to seeing the most and thankfully, this show delivers.

The show opens with the models wearing the typical prada looks: nice fitted dark suits, cardigans and sweaters. I will never grow tired of seeing those looks. After that, lots of denims are introduced and I am drooling over the denim suit and one of the relaxing cut jeans. Another piece I really like is the orange blazer which I think will be good for summer! I am surprised that Miuccia is not following the trend by introducing the jeggings but instead, the pants are in relaxed cuts and I think I would love to give the ma try.

Halfway through the show, the dress shirts are filled with 3 tone colors are introduced and I think the color combination is great! Even though you may not agree with me, but I think the knitwear from the last part of the collection is probably the best of the collection. I am loving the split stripes pattern and once again, the color combination is flawless. Lastly, the shoes in this show are so interesting that I can't even decide if they are dress shoes or sneakers and I think I will try on a pair when I see them in store next year.

Aside from the wide legs shorts and scrubs like tops (trust me, they will be huge in the editorial world because they are too strange), I am very satisfied with this collection. Bravo Miuccia!

P.S Miuccia is looking so good with that outfit!
