Trendology: RYNSHU S/S Collection 2011

RockN’Roll attitude, non conventional elegance and originality, these words are the description for RYNSHU S/S collection.

Part of this collection is inspired by the motorcyclists' clothing as you can see "motocross style shoulder pads" on some tops and multi pockets pants which are directly "inspired by the knee and elbow protections". Fluorescent yellow is also a signature element in this collection as it is used on shorts, pants, jacket and shoes.

Out all the many great pieces in this collection, I am totally addicted to the leather jackets. Leather jackets, to me, are not usually appealing to me because usually they look the similar for many brands; however, in here, I have to say this is one of the edgiest I have seen. The stand out whilst on the shoulders area is the key to edginess and this is one of the reasons why I think his jackets are extremely bold and fierce. Another element that is fun about this collection is the polka dots. Just like leather jackets, I am not a huge fan of polka dots on menswear but the pieces that are shown in this show give me a second thought. Maybe I think the pieces are fun here and I will want to give it a try if I see them in store (well, wonder if Toronto will have a store carry RYNSHU). Last but not least, if you like to wear cape, you will not be disappointed with the innovative design here.

This is a very solid and strong collection and I feel like going for a moonlight ride after seeing the photos of the clothes.

Thanks to the press team over at RYNSHU, now I can show you the complete collection here!
