Trendology: Giorgio Armani Spring 2011 RTW

I love it so much when fashion show tells a story, or when it tells how time passes by as it progresses through the show.  If Vera Wang is to the moon in a clear night sky, Giorgio Armani is to the starry sky.  The only 2 colours that appeared in his Spring RTW 2011 collection are navy blue and black as it cannot be more obvious that the collection is about sky.  More particularly, the Sahara Sky. Making it more explicit, he put the girls in Tuareg head wraps and tribal jewellery. Starting with all blacks and navy blues, cropped jackets, pleated pants, and ruffles in light fabrics. Later on, glittering is all over, sequins and crystals are sparkling the house.
