Walk the Walk: Alexander McQueen F/W 2011 Fall Menswear Collection

After one season of warm up, Sarah Burton has finally shown us what she can do to keep the Alexander McQueen menswear line alive! This collection can be divided into 2 main themes: the military and the gentlemen at Savile Row. The variety of designs and is simply amazing and I actually find Sarah's design for menswear is bolder than what Alexander McQueen had created back in the days. Here are my   pros and cons for this collection.

Pros:
- Bold colors. I am in love with the blue and red combination.
- The 2 laser prints work very well in the collection.
- The shoes are nice.
- Loving the coats and the sport jackets.
- The strong military influence out beats the other brands which have similar concept.

Cons:
- I am not a big fan of the grey long coat, it looks unproportional to me when it is on the model's body.
- I would love to see some more accessories from this collection.
- One of the pieces reminds me of D&G F/W 2009 collection.

Eye Candies:
- The military cape
- The Scottish cape
- The laser print sport jackets and blazer
- The white blazer with black stripes
- The leather fleece vest
