Walk the Walk: Miharayasuhiro F/W 2011 Collection

A solid performance!

Miharayasuhiro provides a breath of fresh air to the Paris' runway shows by showcasing a very interesting collection. While the color palette is leaning towards the dark tone, the design is very unique. Asymmetrical design is the gimmick of this collection and I am loving the half jacket half cape design. Also, the designer's attention to detail is amazing especially the "photo-jacquard" knot  knit suit and the "dusty" pieces. I wish I could see the clothes up close and feel the materials. Overall, what a well executed collection!

Pros:
- The asymmetrical design is very interesting.
- The use of jersey material to create many of the pieces in this collection is a brilliant approach.
- Love the Oscar Wilde inspiration.
- I love the white stripe decoration on the blazer.
- The shoes are something to die for (referencing from Oscar Wilde's Happy Prince).
- Love the "dusty" decoration on some of the pieces.
- The "photo-jacquard" knot knit suit will be forever printed in my mind.

Cons:
- In general, still not a fan of the leggings in menswear.

Eye Candies:
- "Photo-jacquard" knot knit suit knit suit
- Asymmetrical jacket (half blazer, half cape)
- Tang shoes with gold finishing
- The dusty blazer
- Brown leather jacket
