Walk the Walk: Viktor & Rolf F/W 2011 Collection

When I think of the menswear of Viktor and Rolf, I always think of simple and clean. This F/W collection, to me, is a timeless collection as many suits can be worn for a few seasons. Of course, as a RTW line, there are also a few twists to make this collection modern.

Pros:
- The slim fit design is what I am liking here.
- Checkered pattern is in for Paris Fashion Week.
- The shoes are very nice.
- Stripes pattern exists in this collection and I love the twist to it.
- There are some trench coats that I am dying to try on. They are clean cut and timeless.
- As always, their dress shirts look very clean and nice.
- I like the small label strap on the left side of the blazer. Nice touch!

Cons:
- 2 winter jackets remind me of Burberry Prorsum.
- I would love to see more designs with the checkered pattern.
- I don't think the 3 looks are necessary for the collection (even though I understand the runway concept).

Eye Candies:
- Black quilted trench coat
- Black blazer with sparkling decoration on the lapels
- Checkered suit
