Blue wooden cubes and green artificial grasses made up the whole setting for this presentation (yes, the setting is just THAT important in a Prada show) and at first, I thought I would be expecting to see some cricket ball players outfits in the show. I was wrong except for the newsboy caps. Instead, Miuccia sent out an army of boys wearing different kinds of prints to the runway. Not only that, but many of the pieces had the jewel studs treatment. The whole collection was simply vibrant, fresh and colorful. In the end, I finally realized this collection has a strong golf theme to it (just look at those golf bags).
We all know that the shoes from this fashion house are going to be a hit item in S/S 2012 season, just like the tri-color creepers this year.
Pros:
- The prints are simply amazing. From the cartoon prints, animal prints to floral prints.
- Just when you thought Miuccia could not top the creepers this year, she presents yet another colorful dress shoes collections with "golf shoes bottoms".
- The studded accessories are something everyone will die for.
- Great use of the jewel studs on the pieces
- The newsboy caps are definitely on my wish list.
Cons:
- Not too sure how people can carry the floral prints pants.
