Game[On]: I Scream Awards 2011 Begins!

Let the screaming start all over again!

Last year we had our 1st I Scream Awards and it was a success! This year, we are going to do it again and we are going to make this bigger and better! If you need to recap what we did last year, you can click here (and the party pictures here and here).

Now, we are recruiting our heroes for this year...

Since our site is more focused on a certain area now, the rules for you to become a candidate have changed a bit. Still, we are here to honor the people who have done some good works in the arts and fashion scene in Toronto! Here is all the information you will need to know:

Candidate Requirement:
- Open to arts and fashion bloggers, illustrators, abstract art artists, painters, fashion designers, accessories designers, models
- Must be less than 5 years in this industry, so that means anyone who is “new” to the scene from 2006-2011 is eligible to enter this contest (yep, we are honoring new blood here)
- Must have done at least 1 amazing thing in the industry (such as runway show, feature on a magazine cover, exhibit show, [Bloggers: exclusive fashion/arts entry that helps the industry in Toronto])

Prize:
- A photo shoot session with us.
- A feature on you in December 2011 on our site.
- A chance to be our guest of honor in our anniversary party in December.
- A surprise!

Time line (Winners, you must commit to the shoot date and party date):
Now till September 1st 12:00am: Nomination Period Begins
September 15 5:00pm 2011: Winners will be announced
October 15 2011: Photo shoot session with the winners
December 9 2011: 2nd Anniversary + I Scream Awards Party

- Follow @fusionofeffects on twitter and tweet “@fusionofeffects I SCREAM for ____ because… #ISCREAM”
- Send an email to iscream@fusionofeffects.com and tell us why your candidate should be on our I Scream Awards 2011 list
- Like us on Facebook and leave a comment on our wall. Tell us why your candidate should be on our winner list.

This year, the 1st year I Scream Awards alumni will also help us to pick one of the winners as the alumni’s choice award. Now, let the competition begins and let your friends, family and fans SCREAM for you! You have till September 1st 12:00am to nominate your favorites!
