Time[less]: Franck Muller Giga Tourbillon

One of the watch brands I always have on my radar is Franck Muller. First, I was in love with the Crazy Hours collection and now, this Giga Tourbillon collection has totally melted my heart.

Tourbillon, a mechanical part of a watch escapement, is to help a watch fighting against gravity (hence, give accurate time). For this particular watch, the diameter of the tourbillon is 20mm and it needs 4 barrels (16mm in diameter and 4mm wide) to support it. Instead of using the rectangular bridge to support the tourbillon, a "FM" symbol is mounted on the mechanical part to support it. I really like the skeleton design and out all all the different versions, black is definitely my favourite choice!
