Walk the Walk: Roberto Cavalli F/W 2012 Menswear Collection

Just when I thought S/S 2012 collection was the best for Roberto Cavalli, after seeing the F/W 2012 runway images, my decision has changed. This, is the collection.

Exaggerated prints is no longer the main factor of this fashion house. Instead, it is all about tailoring, the use of materials and the subtle details. The entire collection is still very rebellious and the subtle crocodile skin patten on some of the pieces has really impressed me. The silhouette is slightly softer and I like it a lot. Of course, the yellow, blue and pink have really spiced up  the pieces in this collection.

It will be very interesting to see how Roberto, Daniele and Eva will do to top this collection. I am excited!

Pros:
- The cutting is flawless, it makes the Cavalli man looks very strong, edgy and bold.
- I love the use of the colours.
- The subtle animal element is really impressive and I am very glad Daniele is taking this direction.
- The zebra suit is really breathtaking

Cons:
- So there is yellow, blue and pink, I was expecting orange or red to be in part of this collection too.

Eye Candies:
- Pink jacket
- Zebra print suit
- Crocodile print pants
- Yellow suit
