Walk the Walk: Burberry Prorsum F/W 2012 Menswear Collection

For this season, Christopher Bailey has decided to take inspiration from the British gentlemen and I think the collection is very solid and classy. The colour palette is leaning towards the earth tone and the major elements in this collection include polka dots, animal heads on umbrella and shirts, geometric Fair Isle and stripes. The Burberry man Bailey trying to create in this season is more sleek, classy, and modern. I do love the fitting of the suits and also some of the cropped jackets.

Another great essential collection for this coming season! Stay tuned because I will have a post about this collection's bags sometime on this blog!

Pros:
- I love the fitting of the suits.
- The cropped bomber jacket is very nice and it shows you can wear cit on top of your blazer without being awkward.
- The colour combination of the bags are pretty nice.
- You cannot ignore the accessories such as the umbrellas and the gloves, they are simple stunning!

Cons:
- Since F/W 2011 and S/S 2012 had some amazing shoe pieces, I was expecting to see some cool designs this season as well, but it didn't really happen (probably because the footwear needs to be consistent with the gentlemen theme)

Eye Candies:
- The polka dots shirts and ties
- Animal head handle umbrellas
- Document bags with gold studds
- Gloves
- Stripes sweaters
