Walk the Walk: Chanel Haute Couture S/S 2012 Collection

It looks like all Haute Couture fashion houses are affected by the economic crisis so rather than the dramatic outfits, the designers are actually going for a more ready to wear collection.

Dramatic is never the word for Chanel Haute Couture, but instead, elegant and classy are what I can describe this fashion house's collection from season to season. This time, Karl is taking inspiration from the flight attendants and create some really interesting "costumes" for the Chanel girls. The outfits range from the 80s classics to the futuristic era. One thing I really like about this collection is the design of the collar. This particular design is making the girl looks stronger, and sharper.

If the flight attendants are going to wear something like this in the future, I am sure a lot of fashion lovers will want to board on this company's plane. Chanel, let's make this happen.

Pros:
- I really like the colour palette: white, black and different shades of blue.
- The collar design is great, and also the puff sleeves design is very interesting.
- The reflective material (patent leather I assume?) is injecting the futuristic element to the collection.
- I will neve get tired of Chanel's presentation, this is another great show.

Cons:
- The shoes are not appealing at all. I thought Karl would do something that trump the "torch" shoes from last season.

Eye Candies:
- The gradient suit
- The sharp collar black one piece dress
- Black puff sleeves dress
