Walk the Walk: Prada F/W 2012 Menswear Collection

There is a very big gimmick of this season's Prada menswear fashion show. Not one, but a couple celebrities are there to walk the runway and I think the message for this collection is everyone from 18-70 will be able to find a piece to suit his wardrobe collection.

It looks like the Milan Fashion Week theme this season is about gentlemen so Miuccia has decide to take a spin on this concept as well. Unlike the S/S season, the colour palette is darker and those comic prints do not exist anymore. Coat is the main factor of this collection and it ranges from plain colour, stripes to pattern. I really like the badges on the coats and I believe these badges will make an appearance on the ties or square pockets in the future. Of course, you cannot ignore the footwear, even though the design is not as outrageous as the S/S season.

I wonder how many men are going to rock out the long coat next season, or more specially, how many men will be able to rock out those pattern long coats?

Pros:
- How can you not like to see celebrities like Garrett Hedlund, Adrian Brody, Jamie Bell, Gary Oldman and Willem Dafoe to walk on the runway? They look stunning!
- I like the age diversity of the models. This clearly is making a statement.
- Judging from the clothes I see in this collection, I can assume the accessories will be amazing.
- The glasses and shoes are very cool (especially the floral print dress shoes)
- I like the prints on the long coats a lot, especially the stripes one.

Cons:
I am just not a big fan of the turtle neck styling.

Eye Candies:
- Stripes long coat
- Floral print shoes
- Sun glasses
- White dress shirt with badges
