Walk the Walk: Z Zegna F/W 2012 Menswear Collection

This is the first collection for Paul Surridge as the Z Zegna creative director and I must say, the collection is very impressive and refreshing.

According to Surridge, this collection is based on the term "The New Gentleman" so you can expect a lot of great pieces for your everyday wardrobe. The cutting is great as the silhouette is softer around the shoulder area and the slim cut is always my favourite. Also, the use of copper zipper and rubber material have made the collection younger and modern. Yes, The New Gentleman is the right term to describe this collection and I am very impressed.

P.S How can you not love the online presentation when you have Anna Dello Russo walking you through the backstage and explains the collection to you? Love this idea!

Pros:
- The use of rubber and copper zipper are refreshing.
- I really appreciate the details of the back on some of the pieces, particular the vest.
- The graphics on some pieces are great (colours include electric blue, sapphire, red-orange, and emerald).
- The refined suits are my cup of tea. I can not think of a reason not wanting them.

Cons:
- I want more lace-up shoes as I am not a big fan of loafers (in general, I am not a fan of any loafers).

Eye Candies:
- The suits
- Purple hoodie
- Rubber trench coat
