Walk the Walk: Balmain F/W 2012 Collection

Olivier Rousteing is offering a very interesting Balmain collection this season. Interior design is what come to mind when I look at this collection as you can see a lot of cool home decoration elements in it. The silhouette this season is very structured and sharp, which will fit girls who like more masculine pieces. Last but not least, the details in this collection really show the impeccable craftsmanship. $5000 for a jacket? Maybe this is the season you will want to invest one to feel like it worths every single penny.

Pros:
- A lot of the pieces are very structured and sharp, which make the girls look very clean and sleek.
- I have a very good feeling this collection is inspired by room decorations. You can see elements like floral prints from wallpaper to sofa pattern. I like what I see here.
- The detail is impeccable, especially the embroidered pieces.

Cons:
- Compare to the clothes, the shoes are not too appealing. Nothing too special about them.

Eye Candies:
- Floral embroidered blouse
- Blue velvet with white beaded one piece dress
- Black quilt vest
