Walk the Walk: Gareth Pugh F/W 2012 Collection

It seems like Gareth Pugh has toned down a bit with his latest collection, but that does not mean the clothes are not edgy and fierce. This collection is very futuristic and I have a very good feeling the inspiration is coming from the UFO. The colour palette creates a very dark mood for this collection and the fringe element reminds me of the monsters in space. Also, the collar and shoulder designs on some pieces are unique, which I can imagine these pieces to be on the new version of Star Trek. The only downside I have for this collection is, where is the menswear? Are you done with it Gareth?

Pros:
- Pugh continues the futuristic approach and the black/Lavender/grey colour palette makes the collection very cohesive.
- I like the silhouette of the clothes, very sharp and edgy.
- The boots are very interesting, and it is a hit or miss item depending on the person's taste. To me, this is a hit.
- I love the fringe on the clothes, that is a refreshing element in the Gareth Pugh universe.
- I like the UFO element a lot, as you can see it is applied on the neck and the shoulders.

Cons:
- Where did the menswear go?

- Black fringe one piece leather dress
