Walk the Walk: Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2013 Menswear Collection

After a dramatic collection from last season, Dolce & Gabbana has shifted gears to a more wearable collection. For this S/S season, the inspiration is from the culture of Sicily. The prints are inspired by the souvenir and the stripes are inspired by the Sicilian beaches. There are all sorts of silhouettes in this collection which mean there is something for everyone. The best part of this presentation is all models on the runway are real Sicilian men. This action really shows how important Sicily is to both Mr. Dolce & Mr. Gabbana.

What do you think?

Pros:
- Big props to Mr. Dolce & Mr. Gabbana for having real Sicilian men on the runway. This shows how important Sicily means to them.
- The souvenir prints pieces are nice, especially the blazers. They can be some good statement pieces for next season.
- I am in love with the bags. The mixed panels make them look interesting.
-This is definitely one of the most wearable collections in recent years from the brand.

Cons:
- I was expecting a few dramatic pieces from this runway show, but it didn't happen.

Eye Candies:
- Souvenir style prints  blazers and shirts
- The blue/red stripes blazer
- The knitwear
- The bags
