Walk the Walk: Thom Browne S/S 2013 Collection

Do you remember the fairytale show from Thom Browne's S/S 2013 menswear show? It looks like Browne is not done with this theme yet so he has decided to create a darker fairytale set for the womenswear show.

As you can expect, the collection is filled with artistic pieces. The whale print from the menswear collection is used again to create a few nice pieces for the women. I also like the exaggerated bottom of many of the dresses and the final wedding number definitely reminds me of Audery Hepburn.

If this is the Thom Browne's version of fairytale, I would not mind to live in there forever. What do you think?

Pros:
- I love the creativity of Thom Browne. Every piece is so exaggerated, yet elegant.
- I like some of the fabrics from the menswear are used for this collection.
- The mysterious fairytale setting is completely mesmerizing.

Cons:
- I am surprised Browne did not make crazy shoes for the womenswear. The real silver shoes from the menswear are still stuck in my mind.

- The floral long dress
