Graphicology: Alexander McQueen F/W 2012 by Marlon Sigüina

I like when illustrators use their imagination and reinterpret a particular collection. The following Alexander McQueen series is a good example.

These images are illustrated by Marlon Sigüina and they are based on the F/W 2012 Alexander McQueen collection. When I first looked at the collection, I only thought of futuristic but Marlon saw more than that. In this series, he dresses up superheroines in this collection and each of them has a super power. According to  his blog, these superheroines are inspired by a model with large skull, thin body, long limbs and legs, and large feet (to showcase the shoes).

I find these images to be very interesting and I would definitely like to see him to work on more images based on this collection in the near future (it will be better if the new works are in colour too). What do you think?
