Walk the Walk: Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2013 Collection

The religion theme continues in the Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2013 womenswear collection, but unlike the menswear we saw back in January, Mr Dolce and Mr Gabbana can finally crown the Queen of the fashion religion.

In my opinion, I can see 4 major sections in this collection: the mosaics, the devoters, the widows and the red army (the red cardinal/roses). The mosaics prints are beautiful and the embellishments help to enhance these pieces. If you think they are too much, there are also some plain grey wool pieces for you to choose from this collection. I simply call them the Dolce & Gabbana religion devoters. Then there come the widow, who always dresses in black sexy lace outfits (and maybe white for rare occasions).

One thing that has really struck me is the red army and I feel there are several interpretations here. First of all, these Dolce & Gabbana girls are like the extension of the roses from the men's collection. Here, they have finally blossom, and each has a unique attitude. Then there is also the religion prospective. If you are a Catholic, you will know the cardinals are in red so this might translate as: if Dolce & Gabbana is going to be a religion, what will the cardinals wear?

I really enjoy this collection and Dolce & Gabbana has really brought the religion theme to a whole new leve. The crown does play a significant role in here as I can safely say, Dolce & Gabbana is now a fashion religion and it has a very fashionable leader who will spread her love of fashion to the world. I am in, are you?

Pros:
- The mosaics prints are beautiful, and the embellishment help to enhance the pieces
- The accessories are awesome and I cannot stop loving the crown.
- The Dolce & Gabbana devoters are very regel. They all have a very sexy vibe.
- Even though some pieces have oversized silhouettes, the Dolce & Gabbana girls still look very sexy in them.

Cons:
- None

Eye Candies:
- All the mosaics pieces
- The shoes
- Black lace coat
- The red army
