As usual, the collection is very dark, mysterious and mostly consists of plain colour pieces. The Gareth Pugh women are always like warriors, but in a very beautiful way. However, unlike his previous collections, there is something special about this one. When I look at the images, I instantly think of Haute Couture. Everything looks very precious here, especially the last few feather gowns. Every single look in this runway show will work very well on the red carpet and this is not something I would say about his previous collections.
I honestly think Gareth Pugh has grown and his women are starting to become more elegant and classy. If this is a resume to show the world that he is capable of creating Haute Couture collections, then I have to say, he has pretty much nailed it.
Pros:
- I love the tree branches print, it makes the white pieces special and surreal
- The entire collection is so couture like. The piece are elegant, but without losing the Gareth Pugh edgy touch.
- The black feather outfits will be good for editorials.
- I am in love with the Gareth Pugh women, they are so mysterious and pretty.
Cons:
- I really can't think of any, except maybe it will be better if there are some feather accessories?
