"Drama in a dress" is the title of this collection and I think it is a perfect description. Once again, Ashtiani uses different material combinations to create her clothes. The silhouettes maybe classic, but the modern twists such as the shredded silk and geometric lace make these pieces to look expensive and special.
Out of all the pieces, the burgundy cape is the piece I love the most. It's very modern and it actually has a very masculine warrior vibe. I have a feeling even a guy will look good in it.
Now I am looking forward to see what Ashtiani will have in store for us in the S/S 2014 collection. I am hoping she will surprise me again!
Pros:
- I love the fabrics, especially the geometric lace!
- The shredded silk detail has completely blown my mind.
- Ashtiani knows how to mix and match different materials to create stunning pieces.
- The silhouettes are very modern and I love the fact that some pieces make the girls look like warriors (that cape is a good example).
- Amazing colour palette! I love the burgundy!
- Everything is so wearable, with a very edgy twist!
Cons:
- I really cannot think of anything I don't like in this collection
