Trendology: GQ For GAP 2013 Capsule Collection

To all my male readers, today is a great day because GAP has finally released the GQ For GAP 2013 capsule collection. I was at the preview today and the pieces were amazing.

This year, GQ has chosen Aviator Nation, Baldwin, Bespoken and Ernest Alexander to be the best menswear designers in America and each brand has created a small collection for GAP. Each designer has a unique aesthetic and here is a breakdown:

Aviator Nation is all about the cool 70s California vibe. Paige Mycoskie, the designer of the brand, has created some activewear with a vintage vibe.

Matt Baldwin's designs are very minimal, modern and masculine. I am in love with his tech jean jacket.

Liam and Sammy Fayed of Bespoken have created some wonderful Savile Row inspired pieces. I have actually bought a blazer from them! (I am so in love with the suede baseball jacket)

Ernest Alexander has created some beautiful bags for this capsule collection and the weekender is one of the highlights!

If you live in Toronto, you can get this collection at the following GAP locations: Bloor Street West, Toronto Eaton Center, Queen Street West, Square One Shopping Center and Yorkdale Shopping Center.

If you live in other parts of Canada, you can get the collection at the following locations: Montreal Eaton Center, Chinook Center in Calgary, Robson Street and Metropolis at Metrotown in Vancouver.

Also, these pieces will also be available at Gap online store.

Now let me know which piece is your favourite!
