Walk the Walk: Valentin Yudashkin S/S 2014 Collection

Valentin Yudashkin is not a familiar name to me but after looking at the S/S 2014 collection, I just have to share this amazing collection with you here.

This collection is like a tribute to the 80s with big shoulder pieces, swirl prints and 3D embellishments to make the collection as dramatic as possible. I personally like the colour palette a lot as it reminds me the golden moments of the 80s. Out of all the pieces, the last few evening pieces are probably the most outrageous ones as those gold 3D embellishments are catching everyone's attention.

To be very honest, I don't think most of the pieces in this collection will be bought by the consumers, but I do believe they will turn up on red carpets and cool editorial shoots. I would love to see how Valentin will continue to evolve this brand. What do you think?

Pros:
- The shoulder design is very cool and it reminds me of the 80s.
- Love the 3D embellishments. They add life to the garments.
- I like the colour palette. It's refreshing because it brings back the best memories of the 80s.
- I actually really like the print.

Cons:
- Not enough wearable pieces, or they are not too memorable.

Eye Candies:
- The last few evening gowns
- The blue sharp shoulder dress
