Walk the Walk: Louis Vuitton S/S 2014 Collection

This is a strange Walk the Walk post because I am not even going to talk about the collection (of course, there are many amazing pieces here). In fact, I want to talk about the entire runway presentation.

I shed a few tears while I was watching this runway show online. The show was so magical and it had all the best memories from the best LV shows that Marc Jacobs has ever created (the elevators (F/W 2011), the escalators (S/S 2013), the carousel (S/S 2012), the fountain (F/W 2010), the hotel corridors (F/W 2013), and the clock (F/W 2012)). Everything was black here, which represented the end of the Marc Jacobs era for the brand. The reason why I was so touched by this show is because I started this site when Marc Jacobs began to create these dramatic runway shows. Every key item in the show reflected a specific moment in my life so now I feel like I can close a chapter in my life book as well.

Once again, the clothes are amazing, and I love how Marc Jacobs has left a sweet ending to his last collection for Louis Vuitton.
