Walk the Walk: Valentino S/S 2014 Collection

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli always amaze me with their creations for Valentino, and this season is no exception.

Whimsical vibe does not really exist in this collection, instead, it is very dark and mysterious. The patterns remind me of tribes in Africa and as usual, I cannot stop looking at the details of the pieces. My personal favourites are the mini dresses as they look beautiful and playful at the same time.

As always, whenever I look at Valentino collection, I feel like I am inside an art museum looking at movable art works. This one is another collection I will forever have in mind.

Pros:
- I like the mysterious vibe in this collection. It's a departure from the whimsical aesthetic. But the romanticism vibe remains
- I like the patterns in this collection a lot. They remind me of tribes from Africa
- The mini dresses are very pretty, they are so colourful and playful
- The fringe cap will be a big hit next season, especially for editorials

Cons:
- It's another flawless collection

Eye Candies:
- Tribal print long gown
- Tribal print cape
- Sheer mini dress with tribal pattern
- White gown
