Walk the Walk: Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2015 Menswear Collection

Sea of red.

Dolce & Gabbana presented the S/S 2015 menswear collection on the first day of Milan Fashion Week and the designers once again went back to the Sicily history for inspirations. This time, it was the Spanish domination of Sicily between 1516 and 1713.

The collection didn't exactly reflect the history of that time, but instead, the designers created the fantasy world that was heavily influenced by the Spanish culture. The matador inspired pieces were modern and trendy, whereas the polka dots suits reminded viewers of flamenco dancers. The fashion house once again developed some beautiful prints and the tile print suit was one of the most stood out pieces in this collection.

Of course, in every Dolce & Gabbana show, there was a grand finale and this time, it consisted of a sea of men in different shades of red. It was a breathtaking moment!

Pros:
- The typical Dolce & Gabbana has a Spanish twist, everything becomes so romantic, with an edge of wildness.
- The matador inspired pieces are edgy, so are all the prints in this collection
- The polka dots series is stylish and can be timeless at the same time. The suit is something to die for.
- Even though the collection is dominated by the red colour, there are still some great black suits, which are the perfect staple pieces.
- The sea of red finale is simply breathtaking!

Cons:
- Would love to see some accessories inspired by the matador, or the tile prints.

5 MUST HAVE:
- The title print suit
- The matador inspired jacket
- Black and red sweater with Virgin Mary print
- Red small polka dots suit
- Black suit with special decorative element on the pants
