Funkology: Peace Ninjas

Our friend Emi♥ by Xander Kostroma has recently sent us some photos of their latest product created by Odd Socks and I personally love it a lot!

You may have seen a lot of mummy dolls lately but I have never seen these ninja dolls before. These Peace ninjas are made from "new 'boring' raggedy style socks, they are turned inside out, stuffed with love and are ready to take on the world!" What I like about this ninjas line is each doll is hand made so every piece will be unique. If you like it too, click here to order one home!

[Re]Visit: Emi♥ Fall collection press leak

I have just received a press leak from Emi♥ and it seems like the people there are cooking up fiercely for their F/W collection! Even though I have only received one montage for now, I have a good feeling this collection is going to be great!

There is a frabic photo in this montage and it is actually "part of a unique made to order, couture range of clothing by Llio Peachy for Emi♥" which they will be exclusivly selling. I am excited to see what Llio Peachy and Emi♥ have come up with and I am sure I will get my answer soon. Stay tuned to this blog to get an update on this collection!

Trendology: Emi Clothing S/S 2010 Lookbook

It's finally here!

Emi♥ Clothing Ltd, one of my the brands I feature on the blog, has finally released their lookbook for the S/S 2010 collection. I actually really like some of the jewellery pieces when I look at the photos. Now, I have one question: When will they start a men's jewellery line? [Un]Discovers: Emi♥ by Xander Kostroma

Twitter is just an amazing social media tool which hooks me up with some cool brands in the world. The  latest discovery I have found is Emi♥ Clothing Ltd. This company is based in UK and they sell some chic and funky jewellery.

Recently, I am fortunate to have Xander, the founder of this company to do an email interview with me and I would love to share this with you.

Hey Xander, thanks for taking your time to answer my questions. First I want to ask is how did you start this company? What is the main concept of this brand's jewellery?
I started my first business when I was 18, I always knew that I wanted to work for myself, it's just I didn't know how I would go about it. Finally, after 5 years of trading I had built up enough understanding of what my customer base was to make the jump and start my own brand. My partner and I then decided to set up a fair trade company called Emi♥.

Emi♥ is a fair trade company that mixes bohemian inspired style with modern day chic. Usually, when people think of fair trade, they imagine "a load of old hippies dancing around a field" (which is what I was told in the past) but I wanted to show people that fair trade can also mean funky and a bit sexy while maintaining a fair trade stature and helping people in the far east.
