[Re]Visit: Behind the Scene of Worth. by David C. Wigley Look Book Shoot

I am so thrilled to be invited by David to go to Mckenzie James' studio to check out Worth. by David C. Wigley Look book shoot! Unlike FAT, this time, I can actually touch and see the collection up close and I am loving them a lot. The models are amazing in the shoot and David's team has done an amazing job styling the models! I have seen some shots of the models on Mckenzie's camera and I have to say they have blown my mind.

Here, I have shot some behind the scene photos to share with you and let you feel the atmosphere of the shoot (Have not been a behind the scene person for a long time, so this is fresh to me)! Stay tuned to this blog to get the exclusive look at the look book photos!

[Re]Visit: Mike Lewis For David Dixon F/W 2010

Mike Lewis, one of the photographers in Toronto I really like, has recently done his first fashion video for David Dixon F/W collection! I am totally loving the video because it stays true to Mike's style and it has the gloomy and mysterious vibe to it! Nevertheless, I am also loving David Dixon's new collection, especially that disco dress!

Mike Lewis + David Dixon = magical combination!

Below is the video for the F/W campaign and if you like to see the prints, you can go to Mike Lewis' official website and find them under the fashion section.

[Re]Visit: Emi♥ Fall collection press leak

I have just received a press leak from Emi♥ and it seems like the people there are cooking up fiercely for their F/W collection! Even though I have only received one montage for now, I have a good feeling this collection is going to be great!

There is a frabic photo in this montage and it is actually "part of a unique made to order, couture range of clothing by Llio Peachy for Emi♥" which they will be exclusivly selling. I am excited to see what Llio Peachy and Emi♥ have come up with and I am sure I will get my answer soon. Stay tuned to this blog to get an update on this collection!

[Re]Visit: Any Given Sundai

As many of you may know, I am a huge fan of Scot Woodman's works. Recently he has done a shoot for Sundai Love, an America's Next Top Model alumni (cycle 13) and the photos are very refreshing!

The shoot takes place in the Mojave desert which the rough light brown background creates a big contrast with Sundai to make her stands out . As usual, Scot's lighting technique and superb and the composition is great! Sundai's expression is flawless and if she ever comes to Toronto, I would definitely want to book her for a shoot! Scot, you are making me jealous again...

Here are some information about this shoot:

Photographer: Scot Woodman
MUA and Hair Stylist: Kristin Cipponeri
Model: Sundai Love (from America’s Next Top Model Cycle 13)
Stylist: Scot Woodman (myself) and Kristin Cipponeri (featured embellished Military jacket created by Scot Woodman)

[Re]Visit: Mike Lewis for Supplementaire - The Fashion Issue

I am so happy to announce that one of our [Un]Discovers, Mike Lewis, is going to be one of the photographers to showcase in Supplementaire #2 - The Fashion Issue. This magazine is a collection of editorials that are done by some of the rising photographers in the world. Here is the editorial first page that is done Mike and it is called "Walking Running Escaping The Road". If you want to see more of his and other artists work, you can order the magazine here.  The magazine will be in 12'' by 12'' so that will be an interesting magazine to collect.

[On]Air: We Are Born Two AT A Time Revisited

One of our feature artists of the month, Hugo Arias is currently having his solo exhibition at Sleeping Giant Gallery at the moment and we are able to take some time off from FAT Toronto and check it out. While we are there, we cannot stop staring at the wall because Hugo has spent days to create something unique for it. It's so nice and the best part is, it is up for sale! If you can spend $6500 for it, you can take the walls off and put this work in your house! We are currently really poor at the moment so we will have to give up on this great piece of art work!

If you live in Toronto and have not seen this exhibit yet, you should head to Sleeping Giant Gallery (789 Dundas Street West) before Thursday to check it out! Don't miss this amazing show!

This is the $6500 wall, go see it yourself!

[Re]Visit: It's My Time for Shane Coleman

You may not have met this knight yet but Shane is definitely a good candidate for the Benetton campaign. He is actually the King of Hearts in our photography exhibit (Read'em and Weep) back in October 2009. He definitely needs your vote so if you like him, please click here and give him a vote.

One of our dames, Ashley Pimentel has joined this competition and she would love to have your vote. If you think she should be on the next Benetton campaign, please click here and vote for her!

[Re]Visit: Helen Hung's WaWa

Helen, aka CQ Cat who is our [Un]Discovers artist,  has recently done a new series called WaWa. This is her first time to try out this new style and I think the art pieces look very good. This somehow reminds me of the Japanese dolls (probably because the iris is missing). I do highly recommend you to take a look at this series.

[Re]Visit: Scot Woodman's Mugshots for Haiti

http://www.scotwoodmanphoto.com/Today, I have received a news from one of our [Un]Discovers.

Scot Woodman, our feature photographer in January, is doing something to help the people in Haiti and I am loving this idea. He has sent me an email about his current project and I really believe if you live in Modesto, Ca, you should contact him and get a shot done by him.

Here is what he wants you to know:
"I started my mugshot series Mugshots in early September. It was inspired by the mugshots I saw of famous celebrities on a website. So decided to take my own mugshots series of some of my friends along with a funny story as to how they ended up in the "slammer". I've been approached by many people who also want their mugshot taken. After I saw the heartbreaking images and story on the news about the earthquake in Haiti, I decided to help everyone out. For $10,  people can have their "mugshot" taken by me and it will be posted on both my flickr and my Facebook Fan page. 100% of proceeds that I earn from the Mugshot's will be donated directly to an organization to help the Haitian people."
If you are interested in doing this shoot, please contact him at this email address: scotwoodmanphoto@me.com

If you need to check his photos, please click here for the flickr stream and here for his facebook fan page. You can even take a look at his official website. If I were in Modesto, I would love to do a mug shot for this great cause.

Here are some of the mugshots
