The 2nd part of Dolce & Gabbana Illustration project is here and I invited Helen Huang and Florian Meacci to be in charge of this interesting idea. For this, I wanted them to use the roses print from the menswear and incorporated it with the red dresses from the womenswear. You will have to visit Swide to see the results and I can tell you that both pieces are very amazing!
Please visit Swide for the article and Draw A Dot. for my personal remarks.

Art[s]ense: Florian Meacci
If you are a fan of DJ White Shadow, then Florian Meacci should not be a strange name. Why? Because this DJ has recently tattooed one of this talented artist's works on his body.
I personally am a fan of Florian's works because of his sharp clean lines and realistic illustration style. This week on Swide, I am fortunate to feature him and get to know more about his works. Please visit Swide for the interview and Draw A Dot. for my personal remarks.

Dots[Connection]: The Twisted Fantasies
You are really missing out if you haven't been to Draw A Dot. yet because this past week was packed with a lot of amazing illustrations. If you are still not convinced by the site, here I will give you 3 of the highlights of the past week.
For this Cruise collection, Gucci has teamed up with Hirohiko Araki to create a comic story about a girl named Jolyne Cujoh. It's great to see this Italian brand is bringing new ideas to the fashion world and the illustrations are fantastic! [Read Here]
If you are a Disney fan, you are going to love this illustration series. Lee Bo has combined some of the most F/W 2012 iconic looks and Disney characters to let you experience the new side of fairytales. Very beautiful images. [Read Here]
Florian Meacci has amazed me with his portraits because they are not ordinary. In this FASHION IS NOT DEAD series, he chooses some of his favourite street style people and give them a new twist! I wish I could be Florian's subject one day! [Read Here]
In case you haven't seen it, here is my personal view on the 3rd part of Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2013 illustration project.
Make sure you follow Draw A Dot.'s Facebook Page and Twitter as I am soon going to reveal some sneak peek images of an upcoming project!
