Minjee Kang took inspirations from the Red Valentino Resort 2017 collection and created this lovely piece! The collection really suits the fairytale vibe so I think it is a nice match for the artist to put Snow White and the Evil Queen in those outfits.   [Read Here]

Trendology: Red Valentino F/W 2012 Collection

While Valentino is about elegant and romanticism, its sister label Red Valentino is always about playfulness and sweetness. For this Fall 2013 season, Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri are bringing us to their version of Hansel and Gretel.

From season to season, I always think of Red Valentino is a fairytale brand because of the whimsical designs. In here, you can actually imagine few fairytale characters wearing some of these pieces in their stories. I can definitely see Little Red Riding Hood and Belle from Beauty and the Beast wearing some of the dresses, even though this collection is inspired by Hansel and Gretel. The floral elements, from 3D rose to floral prints, are what made this collection to be very playful and whimsical. My favourites are the 3D rose cape, the nude cropped trench coat and the floral print dress. I am very certain that Emma Stone will look very good in this collection as she just looks like a modern fairytale princess in real life.

Trendology: Red Valentino Cotton-blend Knitted Cardigan

This is beautiful!

This piece is from Red Valentino, the diffusion line of Valentino. I really like the ruffle trims around the shoulder area and the collar area. The lace bow on the left is making this piece more feminine and playful. I would like to see some girls wearing this on the street soon!
