Coming from a background of fine arts, I was more aware of Björk's husband, Matthew Barney, at first. He is an american artist, who works in sculpture, photography, drawing and film; touted for some of the most imaginative and brilliant achievements in the history of avant-garde cinema, i.e. The Cremaster Cycle and Drawing Restraint 9, featuring Björk.
From Bjork's Vespertine album, there is the music video for "Pagan Poetry", directed by Nick Knight, also featuring Björk with her husband Matthew Barney engaging in sexual intercourse. Excerpt from Wikipedia:
..."is about a woman preparing herself for marriage and for her lover". It was also one of Björk's most controversial. It features Björk in a dress designed by Alexander McQueen, covering only the lower portion of her body. The upper portion of the dress seems to be pearls laced through her skin. The video also features Miro-like abstractions, and a graphic display of body piercing, including a corset piercing on a model's back. The video was banned by MTV in the United States, but was eventually shown in unedited form on MTV2 in a presentation of the "20 Most Controversial Music Videos".
Personally, in the video, I think from 2:12 onwards is breathtaking...
